Sisterly Love

Sisterly Love is the story of two sisters who grow apart.

Spanning continents and decades, Sisterly Love explores the intertwined issues of sexuality, politics, family, and gender through the relationships and career of Summer O’Flynn.

From her girlhood in Brisbane to her struggle to make her name in Australia’s corridors of power to an increasingly conservative America determined to bring her to heel, Summer won’t settle for anything less than the love and happiness she deserves.

Praise for Sisterly Love

D.L. Lee’s writing is fluid, evocative, and economical—crucial features when so much physical and psychic territory is covered.

— Alan Ziegler, author of Love at First Sight

There is no barrier between the writing and the story. D.L. Lee’s ability to create a tangible world full of images, sounds and smells is quite amazing. She never goes over the top —sometimes the silences tell you more than what could be expressed in words.

— Lara Vapnyar, author of The Scent of Pine
